Filtration Units

Filter Housing & Activated Carbon

ATT-CAF is a range of air filtration units with activated carbon, complemented by a set of air filters according to ASHRAE standards.

ATT-CAF is constructed on a galvanized housing base and is available on request in 304 or 316 stainless steel.

ATT-CAF features:
– A standard range of 2500, 3000, and 4500 m3/h with activated carbon and G4 filtration (MERV 4), with options for additional filtration from MERV 5 to MERV 16.
– Custom manufacturing for airflows up to 150,000 m3/h based on specific requirements.

The activated carbon in ATT-CAF effectively absorbs a wide range of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) including petroleum solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones, ethers, halogenated hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and acetates. This is crucial for treating gases or ambient air through absorption processes.

ATT-CAF filtration is designed to mitigate the harmful effects of particles. Chemical composition is not the sole factor in toxicity; finer particles pose higher health risks as they can penetrate deeply into the respiratory tract and reach the lung alveoli. Lighter particles also remain suspended in the air longer, leading to prolonged exposure for operators.

Applications:

The ATT-CAF units are available in standard versions for:

• 2500 m3/h
• 3000 m3/h
• 4500 m3/h

equipped with activated carbon cartridges to treat odors, harmful gases, and other VOCs.
The ATT-CAF units come standard with G4 filtration (MERV4) to remove gravimetric particles.
Upon request, opacimetric and high-efficiency filters from MERV5 to MERV16 can be added.
For airflow needs exceeding 5000 m3/h, custom-designed units are offered for each application, featuring activated carbon, and 1 or 3-stage filters ranging from MERV1 to MERV16.
